Jojest is a User Experience Designer with over 13 years experience in creating amazing and immersive experiences. He enjoys coming up with new and innovative ideas and foreseeing potential problems to create useful, intuitive, and easy to use products with simple, clear navigation and logical, semantic structure of content and information that deliver users the best experience possible.

User-centered design

Interaction design

Good experience in User-Centered Interaction Design methodologies includes Research, Analysis, Design, Paper Prototyping, Wireframes, Grey Screen Prototyping, Usability testing, Implementation and Testing of all the solutions. Several iteration cycles were occured in various stages of project include Paper Prototyping, Wireframing and Grey Scale prototyping. User feedbacks and findings from user testing is incorporated in each stages and further testing is done till the satifactory solutions were reached. Strong experience in internet interfaces and Education and banking domains.

Story Boards / Specification Writing

Experience in Case Studies and Storyboards includes Conceptual Diagrams, Blueprints and Wireframes and incorporated all the deliverables into the important document in a project : Strategy reports.

Requirements gathering / analysis

Good experience in a balanced approach of research methodologies comprises context, content and users. Requirement gathering methods includes Background Research, Presentation and meetings, Stakeholder interviews, Technology assessment, and Contextual Research includes Heuristic Evaluations, Meta data and content analysis, Content Mapping and Benchmarking and User Based research includes Search Log and Click Stream Analysis, Use Cases and Personas, contextual enquiry, and User Interviews and User testing of existing systems. This enables me to make a strong base of requirement analysis and proposed an efficient and user friendly solutions to the project worked on.

Prototyping

Very good experience in Paper Prototyping, Wireframes, Grey Screen prototyping and Interactive prototyping. Strong experience in HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS and Ajax enabled me to produce interactive prototypes and tested with users before the actual design started and through this approach, could gather as much findings from user testing as possible to rectify all shortfalls in the system before development stage started and reduced the testing and bug fixing time in the development stage.

Usability testing

Experience in conducting usability tests on various stages of project. This includes usability testing of existing system to find the usability issues the users were facing and find out the reasons of the failures of the product. Also conducted paper prototype testing, Wireframes testing and Interactive prototype testing in various stages of project. This enables us to eliminate design problems and frustration of using the product, high quality and easy to use.

Heuristic evaluation / expert review

Conducted heuristic evaluations of the existing products and tested the websites against a set of design guidelines and identified major problems and opportunities for improvement. Used Jakob Nielsen's Ten Usability Heuristics for the evaluation. There were multiple experts involved in this process other than me and incorporated all the findings in the report which used as a guiding principle in the further stages of the project(s).

Communication / presentation

Very good communication and presentation skills and conducted various meetings and interviews with Stake Holders and Users in various stages of the project. Also conducted sprint sessions in which active participation of stake holders and users ensured.
